If you know me, you know that I LOVE all of Anastasia’s Products. When she came out with her foundation sticks I was thrilled. To your surprise, I fell in love with the foundation as well. Coverage is buildable and I use a synthetic foundation buffing brush to apply and set it with a wet beauty blender. You always want to make sure you use the right tools for this product. If you have dry to combination skin, use a beauty oil first then apply the foundation. If you have oily prone skin, make sure that you set the foundation. They are multi-purposeful and can be used for contour and highlight as well.
Oil Recommendation: ABH beauty Oil, Josie Argon Or Boscia Beauty Oil!!
Setting Powder: Kat Von D Transluncent powder or Laura Mercier Translucent
If you know me then you know that I absolutely LOVE using this. If you don’t own one, you’ll need to pick one up and test it for yourself. The beauty blender will give you a flawless makeup application that will leave you feeling and looking great. This sponge can be used with any of your foundations and will give you amazing results. You can also use this to blend out your liquid or cream contour/highlight and concealer. Plus how cute is this duo beauty blender best friends one that I bought. These beauties do come in black and white. The Black is the Pro Beauty Blender and the white is the No Dye one. They also come in the micro mini…great for concealer.
Oh and buy cleanser for it as well… it works wonders.
Let me know how you like these blenders and if you have any tips or tricks.
For many years my go to product has been the Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheers, to get that beautiful natural glow. It is amazing but I’ve been in search of a product that would give me the same look but in a pressed powder finish. I’ve finally found it!!! BECCA shimmering Skin Perfector has now become my holy grail for glow and highlight in addition to my Fluid Sheers. In the picture above I have the ‘Rose Gold’ to the left and the ‘Opal’ Skin perfector to the right. You can achieve a beautiful glow with both. I tend to use the Rose Gold for more of a bronze goddess look and add the Opal for a nice touch of highlight. There are four different colors you can choose from, and they are all equally beautiful. I am hooked and I highly recommend this as it is soft, creamy and blends right into the skin.
tip: I add a touch of the Opal on my cupids bow and a touch to the middle of my bottom lip for a ‘fuller’ look. Pair it with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation and put on your favorite mascara and you will look effortlessly beautiful.
