Estee Edit

imageI was away in Mexico for a work trip and fell in love with the new Estee Edit Shadow Palette. This palette is made with the collaboration of Kendall Jenner. Two of the shadows in the palette will ‘glow in the dark’ apparently. I have yet to play with that but when I do I’ll blog about it.  Rocking the pallete in this photo, if you’ve tried it let me know your thoughts.

Bold Lines

I created this look with the new Tarteist Clay Paint Liner. It is easy to use and buildable as well. If you’re an eye liner addict you need to pick this up. The tip of the product is perfect because it is your own little palette…AMAZING! This then gives you a neat and messy-free application. Wait that’s not it… this liner comes with a brush!!!!! YAY. #musthave

Below I have listed the additional products that I have used. I’m currently using the Tarte Corrector and Maracuja Concealer and I must say that I LOVE it. I use this on days I need a bit more coverage (lack of sleep/hydration…oops) and it works wonders. Let me know your favorite products.

BITE

bite lips‘Fraise’ by BITE BEAUTY is my favorite go-to red right now. It’s a long lasting matte lipstick. You don’t even need to use a lip liner as you can use this as a two-in-one product. This twist up lip liner has a sharpener on the end which can turn the lipstick into a lip liner. #musthave

‘Glace’ by BITE BEAUTY is my day time lip color which I wear most of the time. I have paired it with the OCC liner in ‘Sybil’ for a deeper tone. You can either keep it nice and matte or top it off with the Nars ‘Striptease’ gloss.

OBSESSED

Okay. I. Am. Obsessed.

The Anastasia Beverly Contour Kit paired with the MAC 163 flat contour brush. These should be on your list to buy the next time you stop by a beauty store.

The Anastasia Contour kit comes with 6 shades: three for highlighting and three for contouring. The powders are soft and easy to blend. It will help define and sculpt your features. You can create a natural and heavier glam look with this product which is amazing. It’s also refillable which is convenient.

The colors: Java, Vanilla, Fawn, Havana, Banana, Sand.

Now lets talk about this contour brush. AMAZING. Just go out and buy it and you will thank me later. It makes your contouring seamless and easy. The 163 flat brush has synthetic bristles and will help shape/sculpt your features using cream or powder.

Why pair these two products together? Well, after much play time with different tools, I found these two products worked best together. I’ve seen a lot of reviews talking about the contour kit going on too ashy and leaving streaks. If you use the right tools you’ll get great results. Use the MAC 163 brush to apply your product and blend with the MAC 168 large angled contour brush.

All About Eyes

unnamed

The fun part of being a makeup artist is that I get to play with products. This Vice3 Palette by Urban Decay is my new favorite obsession. You will fall in love with the 20 velvety-pigmented shadows. This palette has a mix of different finishes (matte, satin, metallic and sparkle) that will help you create any look you desire. I know that some of the colors might be intimidating but trust me when I say that anyone can use this. MUST HAVE!

ps. not only is the pigment amazing, it also has very little to no fall outs.
