FENTY BEAUTY

Let’s talk FENTY!

I have now tried three products from the line and plan on trying them ALL. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the products and some are utterly obsessed while others criticize the brand. I absolutely LOVE the products I’ve used so far. The foundation is brilliant, comes in 40 shades for any and every skin tone. It’s full coverage and semi matte. Can add as little as you want to achieve sheer-medium coverage. I use less than a pump on my entire face and love the results. A lot of people say that the foundation oxidizes…. well it doesn’t. When color swatching, leave the foundation on for 1 minute before committing to the color. It typically takes 1 minute to see the true tone . It lasts all day and the color does not change.

Now on to the killawatt higlighters…. if you don’t have one already, go and get one asap. They are magical and don’t add texture to the skin. Below are photos wearing the products. Check out my IG for more upcoming photos, in the meantime, go ahead and check out the line and let me know what you think. xo

Shu Uemura || Collaboration

I have collaborated with Shu Uemura to give you all a  sneak peak of the new amazing products that’s they have. Check out my Instagram to see the looks I’ve created using their products. Most importantly, I have a discount code for you all to use on their website www.shuuemura.com and or .ca! You’ll receive 15% off ALL products, in addition to deluxe size samples & free shipping on orders over $50.

I used the cheek and eye palette ‘water slide blue’ in this look! The shadows are pigmented and blend seamlessly. Side note, Shu carries some of my FAV matte lipsticks. If you haven’t tried their lippies yet, go  online now! You’ll thank me later XO.

No-makeup makeup

Want to achieve that no makeup, makeup look? Check out the following photo and product breakdown to achieve the look.

Prep your skin with your daily skin routine and make sure you have beautiful hydrated skin. Use a Beauty oil of your liking and apply a few drops to the palm of your hands and press it in to the skin until it is fully absorbed. Use the Anastasia cream stick foundation and apply three swatches over your face– both checks and your forehead. Take your favourite blending brush and blend until you have a beautiful sheer coverage. Once complete, use a powder puff or a dry beauty blender and pat it on the skin. This gets rid of excess oil and foundation. Apply a bit of highlighter and bronzer if you would like. I just applied the Aurora Glow Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills. Use the same bronzer and highlight over your eye lids for a harmonious look. Lips and brows are up to you– you can pick a bold lip and brow or go natural like I have above.  ūüíč

ABH- Product Breakdown

If you know me, you know that I LOVE all of Anastasia’s Products. When she came out with her foundation sticks I was thrilled. To your surprise, I fell in love with the foundation as well. ¬†Coverage is buildable and I use a synthetic foundation buffing brush to apply and set it with a wet beauty blender. You always want to make sure you use the right tools for this product. If you have dry to combination skin, use a beauty oil first then apply the foundation. If you have oily prone skin, make sure that you set the foundation. They are multi-purposeful and can be used for contour and highlight as well.

Oil Recommendation: ABH beauty Oil, Josie Argon Or Boscia Beauty Oil!!

Setting Powder: Kat Von D Transluncent powder or Laura Mercier Translucent

Estee Edit

imageI was away in Mexico for a work trip and fell in love with the new Estee Edit Shadow Palette. This palette is made with the collaboration of Kendall Jenner. Two of the shadows in the palette will ‘glow in the dark’ apparently. I have yet to play with that but when I do I’ll blog about it. ¬†Rocking the pallete in this photo, if you’ve tried it let me know your thoughts.
