Okay. I. Am. Obsessed.
The Anastasia Beverly Contour Kit paired with the MAC 163 flat contour brush. These should be on your list to buy the next time you stop by a beauty store.
The Anastasia Contour kit comes with 6 shades: three for highlighting and three for contouring. The powders are soft and easy to blend. It will help define and sculpt your features. You can create a natural and heavier glam look with this product which is amazing. It’s also refillable which is convenient.
The colors: Java, Vanilla, Fawn, Havana, Banana, Sand.
Now lets talk about this contour brush. AMAZING. Just go out and buy it and you will thank me later. It makes your contouring seamless and easy. The 163 flat brush has synthetic bristles and will help shape/sculpt your features using cream or powder.
Why pair these two products together? Well, after much play time with different tools, I found these two products worked best together. I’ve seen a lot of reviews talking about the contour kit going on too ashy and leaving streaks. If you use the right tools you’ll get great results. Use the MAC 163 brush to apply your product and blend with the MAC 168 large angled contour brush.

If you know me then you know that I absolutely LOVE using this. If you don’t own one, you’ll need to pick one up and test it for yourself. The beauty blender will give you a flawless makeup application that will leave you feeling and looking great. This sponge can be used with any of your foundations and will give you amazing results. You can also use this to blend out your liquid or cream contour/highlight and concealer. Plus how cute is this duo beauty blender best friends one that I bought. These beauties do come in black and white. The Black is the Pro Beauty Blender and the white is the No Dye one. They also come in the micro mini…great for concealer.
Oh and buy cleanser for it as well… it works wonders.
Let me know how you like these blenders and if you have any tips or tricks.
I created a LONG LASTING lip color using a few of my favorite products.
Started with the Clinique lip liner in ‘Deep Red’ and let me tell you…this lip liner is AMAZING. It is definitely one of my go to lip liners. I outlined by lip with it and then filled in the lip to create a tint/base for my lipstick. I added the Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in ‘L.U.V’ over my lips. This is a LONG lasting lip stain and has a matte finish. Once you have this lipstick on it’s not coming off. So if you’re going out for a fun night on the town, or don’t have time to reapply often, I suggest this product. It comes in various different shades. My one suggestion would be to use a lip balm because it is a little bit drying. In my case, I added the Giorgio Armani Flash Lacquer Gloss in ‘529’ for that finished glossy look. If you have never tried an Armani lip gloss– go out and buy one. They are long lasting, hydrating and the colors are beautiful. Oh and it isn’t sticky…Yay!
I have a video of this up on my instagram incase you want to check it out.
Need ideas for an upcoming event for the holidays? Well here I went with a more classic red tone lip from Giorgio Armani ‘Rouge Ecstasy 402’ . This lipstick is not only long lasting, but it’s hydrating as well. I recommend you picking up ANY shade in this collection, as you will love it as much as I do. On my eyes I have the Holographic Lit Kit in silver, which you can pick up from any Sephora store. Liner is the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in ‘Black Ink’. Brows by Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. Try this look out and let me know what you think.
For many years my go to product has been the Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheers, to get that beautiful natural glow. It is amazing but I’ve been in search of a product that would give me the same look but in a pressed powder finish. I’ve finally found it!!! BECCA shimmering Skin Perfector has now become my holy grail for glow and highlight in addition to my Fluid Sheers. In the picture above I have the ‘Rose Gold’ to the left and the ‘Opal’ Skin perfector to the right. You can achieve a beautiful glow with both. I tend to use the Rose Gold for more of a bronze goddess look and add the Opal for a nice touch of highlight. There are four different colors you can choose from, and they are all equally beautiful. I am hooked and I highly recommend this as it is soft, creamy and blends right into the skin.
tip: I add a touch of the Opal on my cupids bow and a touch to the middle of my bottom lip for a ‘fuller’ look. Pair it with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation and put on your favorite mascara and you will look effortlessly beautiful.
The fun part of being a makeup artist is that I get to play with products. This Vice3 Palette by Urban Decay is my new favorite obsession. You will fall in love with the 20 velvety-pigmented shadows. This palette has a mix of different finishes (matte, satin, metallic and sparkle) that will help you create any look you desire. I know that some of the colors might be intimidating but trust me when I say that anyone can use this. MUST HAVE!
ps. not only is the pigment amazing, it also has very little to no fall outs.
